Coronavirus (COVID-19)

If you are planning on travelling distance to attractions, we would recommend that you contact the venues directly in advance to avoid disappointment.

If you, or any of your party have a new persistant cough, or develop a fever of 38C, we would instead advise you to use the NHS's dedicated website for professional advice.

Bala Lake Railway

A delightful, 9-mile, return journey along the shore of Wales' largest natural lake. The ride offers splendid views of the surrounding mountains and pastoral scenery in a beautiful area of the Snowdonia National Park. Historic, steam locos haul the trains and the railway still uses the original signal box at Llanuwchllyn. The box dates from 1896 and is the only one of its type still in operation. A joint ticket covering all the members of Welsh Tourist Railways may be purchased from www.greatlittletrainsofwales.co.uk.
